2012 Annual Event

The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri held its first annual event on Sat., Jan. 28 and it was a huge success with 300 people attending. The breakfast event featured guest speaker, US Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack who laid out his plan on how to reinvigorate rural counties. He stated, “The real key to bringing vitality back to the community is encouraging the private sector to invest and to create opportunities.”

The Community Foundation also honored Joe Gray and the late Chuck Place with the Distinguished Alumni Award for their commitment to the Community Foundation.
