Board of
Directors
The members of the CFNWMO board are
committed to managing resources to maximize philanthropic
purposes and minimize expenses. To that end, we will
affiliate with
Greater Horizons who will
provide certain administrative duties. Through economies of
scale, Greater Horizons will charge minimal fees, ensuring
that each philanthropic investment returns the greatest
personal and civic benefit possible. Greater Horizons is
administered by one of the most respected community
foundations in the nation: the Greater Kansas City Community
Foundation. The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri
will be one of 10 affiliates.
The CFNWMO board is genuinely committed
to helping our regional not-for-profit groups. To that end,
we are pledging not to engage in annual fund-raising
campaigns but to concentrate on planned giving.
